Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Epic Security and Access Management Specialist to oversee and improve our user access and security measures within the Epic system. The candidate will collaborate with module owners to review access permissions, optimize templates, and ensure proper provisioning. The role focuses on enhancing security and efficiency, minimizing excessive access rights, and refining the template management process for role-based access control.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Epic Security and Access Management Specialist to oversee and improve our user access and security measures within the Epic system. The candidate will collaborate with module owners to review access permissions, optimize templates, and ensure proper provisioning. The role focuses on enhancing security and efficiency, minimizing excessive access rights, and refining the template management process for role-based access control.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: :
- Review user access, templates, and workflows to validate permissions, ensuring no elevated access is granted erroneously.
- Work closely with module owners to analyze current states, devise future strategies, and implement necessary template modifications and user re-provisioning.
- Evaluate, reduce, and optimize templates and subtemplates to streamline role-based provisioning.
- Develop new templates tailored to various operational models across entities to minimize the need for subtemplates.
- Update and maintain user access provisioning to align with individuals' current job roles, ensuring access appropriateness.
- Proficiency in Epic Security and Epic SER functionalities.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using Excel and SQL for data analysis.
- Expertise in Role-Based Access Control strategies and implementation.
- Prior experience in healthcare or related domains with exposure to clinical software systems, specifically Epic, is required.
