Description

Robert Half Management Resouces is seeking is seeking an experienced Interim Controller for one of our medical device clients. This role will focus on process and task management to ensure audit-ready financials over a two-year lookback period.

Responsibilities

• Review and reconcile financials from the past two years to create audit-ready documentation.
• Oversee general ledger management and assist with account reconciliations, preparing adjusting entries as needed.
• Assess and improve the month-end close process for efficiency and accuracy.
• Perform detailed income statement and balance sheet analysis.
• Recent conversion to Sage Intacct; knowledge of this system is ideal, though familiarity with similar cloud platforms will be helpful.
• Work closely with the CFO to deliver reports and take on special projects as assigned.
• Ability to manage tasks independently while maintaining strong communication with leadership.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar role, preferably in a pre-IPO or medical device environment.
• Strong understanding of financial processes, GAAP compliance, and audit preparation.
• Experience with Sage Intacct or other cloud-based financial platforms is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a focus on optimizing financial processes.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
