Duties/Responsibilities
- Assist Electricians in completing supervised work that complies with the current NEC Code.
- Install and repair electrical wiring, systems, and equipment.
- Install and replace conduits and circuit breakers.
- Test electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation.
- Assist in the installation and testing of Fire Alarm and Communications Systems.
- Complete other assigned duties.
- Enroll in and attend Apprentice Schooling.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and good hand-eye coordination.
- Organized and analytical mindset.
- Ability to endure prolonged periods of sitting, standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders.
- Physical strength to pull wires and cables through conduits.
- Capability to frequently lift and move items weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Comfort with heights.
