Oregon Urology Institute is on the lookout for a dedicated Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner to join our esteemed healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to patients with both acute and chronic urological conditions, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver care predominantly in an outpatient office setting while also conducting hospital rounds.
  • Assess and evaluate patients to ascertain their medical conditions.
  • Execute clinical procedures that are within the practitioner's scope and expertise, ensuring economic feasibility.
  • Effectively communicate diagnostic information and treatment objectives to patients.
  • Maintain precise, complete, and timely documentation in the electronic medical records system.
  • Undertake additional job-related duties as assigned.

Required Skills

  • Active, unrestricted Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Oregon, or the ability to secure one.
  • Capability to obtain a DEA license.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of treatment protocols and potential drug interactions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, essential for patient interactions.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Nationally recognized PA or NP certification is required.
