Position Overview: As a Data Visualization Developer, primary responsibility is to create impactful, dynamic, and insightful healthcare data analytics for ComplexCare Solutions platform using our EHR medical datasets.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plans, identifies and designs data integration strategies, develops intuitive designs, and builds enterprise interactive dashboards with built in guided healthcare data analytics.
  • Builds intuitive interfaces, infographics, and visualizations to tell stories with data.
  • Iterates, prototypes, and implements data visualizations using advanced design and development skills.
  • Utilizes interactive drill-downs, movements, and highlights to add layers of information, and engage users to explore data.
  • Use expertise and tools, including immersed visualization, distributed computing, object-oriented programming, scalable parallel computing, and visualization solutions.
  • Develops and maintains dynamic data visualizations that present complex healthcare data in a simple and clear manner.
  • Works as a technical source for technical computing platforms and tools with the goal of applying these techniques to health data.
  • Creates strong data-centric visualizations and meaningful representations for products and platforms with success in delivering visualization and/or web application solutions using various automated tools and techniques for data analysis and presentation.
  • Works in a fast-paced Agile environment especially as it pertains to new idea generation.
  • Works across multi-functional teams to formulate and fine tune design ideas and guidelines.
  • Maintain compliance with ComplexCare Solutions policies, procedures and mission statement;
  • Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within ComplexCare Solutions Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position;
  • Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by ComplexCare Solutions for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Company; and
  • We reserve the right to change this job description from time to time as business needs dictate and will provide notice of such.

Job Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation;
  • Demonstrated algorithm development experience including knowledge of tableau, statistical and matrix processing techniques, machine learning, data mining, data warehouse modeling, information theory, graphical models, and advanced data visualization;
  • Demonstrated dashboard/report skills using Tableau or other similar data visualization tools to the business; and
  • Must also possess experience writing SQL queries.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field of study.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Sedentary work (i.e. sitting for long periods of time);
  • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force;
  • Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions;
  • Subject to inside environmental conditions; and
  • Travel for this position will include less than 5% locally usually for training purposes.

The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. At Inovalon, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.

Base Compensation Range

$90,600—$131,000 USD
