Join AZAD as CAD Technician and provide quality design, layout, and production of engineering, civil, mechanical, electrical, and fiber optic drawings in support of the Communications and Control Planning organization within a regional electric utility. This individual will perform necessary research using standard, plan and profile, hardware, civil, and survey drawings, to control product reliability and accuracy for engineering, technical, and commercial applications.

This is a 2 years plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is hybrid in Vancouver, WA with onsite 1 - 2 days weekly. The hourly pay rate range for this position (which includes a health and welfare fringe benefit of $4.57) is $26.83 - $31.00 depending on related qualifications and experience, as well as composition of selected compensation package.

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications and experience:

High school diploma or GED is required.

An associate or higher college degree in a technical CAD training program is preferred.

4 years of civil, structural, or electrical CAD drafting experience is required.

Knowledge and certified training or experience in MicroStation or AutoCAD is required.

Working knowledge of MS Office to include Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word is required.

Valid U.S. Driver's License is required.

Must be able to pass a federal criminal background and drug screening.
