Promotion Specialist for College Events

Balfour & Co. is actively seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented Promotion Specialists (Sales Associates) to represent our esteemed brand during class ring sales events across the United States. This position offers a unique opportunity for individuals in the Gainesville Area who are interested in flexible, part-time, seasonal work from February to May and August to December each year.

Promotion Specialists will receive a competitive compensation package, including an hourly wage of \(20 plus commissions, with event durations ranging from 4 to 10 hours. Additionally, we provide mileage reimbursement at a rate of \)0.62 per mile. This role is ideal for those eager to travel to various educational institutions within their region and develop a lasting partnership with us across multiple seasons.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage and inform groups of students about Balfour & Co. and our diverse range of products and services.
• Facilitate on-site sales using iPads, assisting customers as needed.
• Set up, organize, and dismantle event displays, ensuring a professional presentation at all times.
  
  

Required Skills

• Proficiency in operating technology devices, particularly iPads, with the ability to guide customers in their use.
• Excellent communication skills, comfortable speaking to large audiences.
• Physical capability to stand and move for the entire duration of events, whether indoors or outdoors, and lift items up to 30 lbs.
• Professional appearance and demeanor, adhering to business casual attire guidelines.

• Outgoing personality with a strong background in sales or customer service.
• Ability to maintain a reliable schedule, arrive punctually, and commit to the entirety of scheduled events.
