DevOps Engineer (Windows / AWS)

Who We're Looking For:

We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer with expertise in Windows, virtual machine environments, and AWS. The ideal candidate will have solid coding skills in Python and PowerShell, along with experience managing YAML files. This role will involve monitoring systems, supporting infrastructure upgrades, and contributing to migrations. Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist in monitoring and managing infrastructure-related tasks with a focus on coding solutions (Python, PowerShell)
• Support infrastructure upgrades and migrations with a focus on Windows, VM, and AWS systems
• Supplement Win/VM/AWS related operational tasks when needed, stepping in for other team members as required
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure and system configurations
• Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures
• Stay up to date with advancements in cloud and infrastructure technologies and recommend improvements
  
  

Some Must-Haves:

• 4+ years of experience in systems engineering with a focus on Windows, VM, and AWS environments
• Strong coding experience in Python and PowerShell
• Proficiency in YAML for managing configurations
• Familiarity with cloud and virtualized infrastructure (Windows/VM/AWS)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Compensation Package (Salary Transparency for US Based Employees)

• Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000+
• Salary is negotiable and the range can be increased based on qualifications, certifications and experience

Other Information

The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it. We work for security-conscious clients, thus background checks will be required.
