Job Summary

The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA), headquartered in Daytona Beach, FL, is currently seeking a full time Foundation Intern. This position is responsible for providing support to the Foundation department and their different programs with a focus on Leadership Academy, Site Directors, and Fundraising projects.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Communication with current LPGA-USGA Girls Golf Site Directors for program updates.
  • Provide pre-event logistics for Leadership Academy Program.
  • Assist Foundation team with on-site event activations.
  • Assist LPGA Amateurs team with membership related activities.
  • Provide pre-event and onsite tournament support for LPGA Amateurs events.
  • Assist fundraising related projects; Member for a Day, donor acknowledgement and stewardship process, donor management & solicitation materials.
  • Assist with special projects and miscellaneous office tasks as required. Including but not limited to helping with various aspects of the grant/ scholarship programs, shipping, and mailing.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Knowledge of basic principles and procedures of nonprofit organizations and foundations.
  • Knowledge of the golf industry and/or event management is a plus.
  • Skilled in event coordination and administrative tasks.
  • Skilled in written and oral communication.
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
  • Ability to be proactive, have excellent organizational skills, and perform efficiently.
  • Ability to travel for one or two weeks during the internship timeframe.

Internship Qualifications

  • Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited College or University.
  • Progress toward a degree, major, or minor in Event Management, Business, Communications, etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint,)
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA at the time of application.
  • Must be junior or senior level. Grad students and recent grads will be considered.

PROJECTED INTERNSHIP SCHEDULE

  • Internship Duration: June 2025 to August 2025
  • Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
