DRIVER/WAREHOUSER

Summary Of Position

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Driver/Picker to join our team. This role involves transporting goods and materials, as well as picking and packing items for delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift and move items safely.

Key Responsibilities

Driving and Delivery:

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods to and from various locations.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
• Ensure all necessary paperwork, including delivery logs and receipts, is completed accurately.
  
  

Picking And Packing

• Accurately pick items from inventory based on order specifications.
• Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit.
• Verify that all items are correct and in good condition before shipping.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  
  

Customer Service

• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and pickups.
• Address any customer concerns or issues in a professional manner.
• Represent the company positively through courteous and respectful interactions.
  
  

Safety And Compliance

• Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while driving and handling goods.
• Follow company policies regarding vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
• Comply with local, state, and federal transportation laws and regulations.
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

Driving Skills:

• Valid Class C driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a delivery or logistics role.
  
  

Technical Skills

• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and operation.
• Proficient in using GPS and other navigation tools.
  
  

Physical Abilities

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Capable of standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
  
  

Organizational Skills

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately pick and pack items.
• Effective time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  
  

Communication Skills

• Excellent verbal communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Physical Requirements
