Position Overview

CUMULUS MEDIA | Kokomo is searching for an experienced, reliable and task-oriented Business Office Assistant. The Business Office Assistant will work directly with our Market Manager as well as our Sales Team and will be responsible for performing a number of administrative duties. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, professional, and capable of managing their work load and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Primary role is acting as a communications liaison between our sales team, our clients and our other inter-company departments
• Assist Account Executives with orders and traffic as needed including organizing and processing of all sales orders
• Provide research materials using Tapscan, Media Monitors, Scarborough, etc.
• Keep sales materials/ media kits up to date and assist in creating sales proposals, digital campaigns
• Backup for Account Executives as needed to input traffic instructions into Vcreative
• Manage multiple project requests simultaneously with quick turnaround time
• Provide excellent support to our clients
• Prepare internal and external corporate documents for team members and industry partners
• Receive and distribute incoming mail and deliveries, coordinates outgoing mail
• Coordinate facility vendors, arranges contracts and service delivery
• Uphold a strict level of confidentiality at all times
• Assist market manager and GSM with special sales reports and projects, as needed
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assistant reporting directly to senior management
• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) with an ability to become familiar with firm-specific programs and software, social media experience is a plus
• Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with friendly and professional demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills
