A Day in the Life:

• Design & Develop: Create and implement front-end interfaces for software services, ensuring maintainability and rapid bug resolution.
• Collaborate & Communicate: Work collaboratively with a software team in an Agile cadence, breaking down designs and user needs into stories that define requirements and expectations.
• User Engagement: Engage with end-users to gather and document interface requirements, translating them into intuitive design solutions.
• Document & Optimize: Ensure compliance with federal regulations, style guides, and best practices for user interfaces, and document design and team best practices.
• Mentor & Guide: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
  
  
  

What You Bring to the Table:

• 10+ years of experience in software development with JavaScript. (A Bachelor’s Degree in an adjacent field may be substituted for 4 years of experience; a Master’s Degree may be substituted for 6 years).
• Proven expertise in developing automated tests for User Interfaces, ensuring high-quality, reliable software solutions.
• Experience with web frameworks such as Flask, React, Angular, or Node, with a strong understanding of UI experience and data visualization techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to engage with users and identify UI requirements, translating them into effective design solutions.
• Experience providing guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture.
  
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience deploying in a cloud environment (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Experience with microservice development containers (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Agile knowledge and practice (SAFe or Scrum Alliance background with Atlassian product experience in Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket).

Salary Range: This role supports $155,000 to $185,000 annually. At DeNOVO Solutions, we value experience and expertise. Compensation may exceed the listed range to align with the skills and experience of the candidate.
