Human Resources Assistant

RetroAIM, LLC, a newly established company formed from the merger of Retro Insulation and AIM Services, is expanding and looking to add an HR Assistant to our team! RetroAIM proudly provides services in mechanical insulation, demolition and abatement to the Hampton Roads (VA), Richmond (VA) & Salisbury (MD) areas, with more regional expansion on the horizon.The Human Resources Assistant at RetroAIM will be responsible for a wide range of administrative functions within the HR department.

Job Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a high level of courtesy and superior customer service.
• Answer general employee inquiries.
• Organize & maintain personnel records.
• Enter employment data into the company database.
• Manage the preparation of payroll data.
• Support in organizing company events.
• Facilitate logistics for new hire orientations.
• Assist with the recruitment and selection processes.
• Preparation and attendance at recruitment events.
• Assist in providing employee professional development.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the leadership team.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  
  

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• High school diploma required; some college preferred but not required.
• Minimum 1-year experience in an office environment.
• Minimum 1-year experience in human resources preferred, but not required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong ability to handle sensitive/confidential situations with professionalism and tact.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Capable of working in a fast paced, deadline driven, and ever-changing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or related software.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
