Description

The Central Operations Team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Logistics Specialist to support new programs intended to deliver value to Amazon Customers through services such as central flow support, fleet support, and onboarding & hiring support. A successful candidate will prioritize managing the customer experience and communicating with internal Amazon teams to deliver on operational objectives while being able to thrive in an ambiguous environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support new initiatives for various Central Operations teams by connecting with internal and external stakeholders
  • Be able to communicate with stakeholders via email or phone daily
  • Assist with various existing DSP fleet, Delivery Station, and/or CO onboarding tasks
  • Problem solve issues and creatively work through ways to resolve
  • Ensure successful task and project performance through accurate task tracking and reporting
  • Provide solutions to new problems utilizing independent judgment and peer collaboration
  • Ability to effectively identify and communicate technical issues
  • Work a flexible schedule as business demands, including weekends and holidays

Other

  • Must be able to report to the site, this is not a remote position.
  • Must be flexible in terms of work schedule; willing to work overnight.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, deadlines, and stressful situations with minimal management oversight.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment remotely and as an advisor
  • Desire to thrive in a dynamic, growing environment

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years of customer-facing environment, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
  • Experience with Excel
