Job Overview

We are seeking a highly proficient Application Developer to join our esteemed IT Team, contributing to the transformative modernization of the Idaho Juvenile Offender System - IJOS2.0. This role presents a unique opportunity to collaborate with a cross-functional team, delivering critical project milestones and ensuring the successful completion of project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the state IT Team to support the final phase of IJOS2.0
  • Engage in feature development and enhancement for the IJOS 2.0 Enterprise Web Application
  • Implement bug fixes and respond to testing feedback from team members
  • Conduct SQL queries and execute data manipulation tasks
  • Mentor junior developers while co-developing and transferring knowledge regarding DevOps best practices
  • Manage deployment, rollback, and testing for COPS/CBAS website code
  • Update and rewrite legacy code for IDHW (ESPI/WITS) Interface to align with new database structures

Required Skills

  • Extensive experience in application development and IT application support
  • Proficient in SQL query execution and data manipulation
  • Skilled in feature development and troubleshooting of bugs
  • Experience in API development and legacy code modifications
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and mentoring junior developers

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 6 to 8 years of relevant professional experience in application development
  • Proven expertise in enterprise-level software applications and database management
  • Strong ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
