Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Vice President of Clinical Affairs to lead and oversee all clinical programs and related initiatives within our esteemed organization. This pivotal role includes providing strategic clinical oversight to the Vice Presidents of Clinical Operations and Clinical Excellence, engaging with potential clients to present our innovative programs, and ensuring the development and maintenance of robust quality assurance processes across all initiatives. Additionally, the role involves leveraging data analytics to drive informed decision-making and collaboration with non-clinical leadership, while reporting directly to the Chief Medical Officer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all clinical programs and initiatives within the organization.
  • Provide clinical supervision to the VP of Clinical Operations and the VP of Clinical Excellence.
  • Engage with potential clients and deliver compelling presentations on company programs.
  • Establish and uphold strong quality assurance processes for each program.
  • Conduct data analytics to enhance clinical outcomes.
  • Collaborate with non-clinical leadership team members.
  • Report to the Chief Medical Officer.

Required Skills

  • Proven leadership abilities with a strong background in healthcare.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills coupled with high emotional intelligence.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication proficiency in English.
  • Strong strategic thinking and adept problem-solving capabilities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the policymaking landscape in New York State and its intersection with not-for-profit organizations.

Qualifications

  • Credentials: NP, PA, RN.
  • Must be Board Certified.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in government relations, community relations, corporate affairs, public policy, or executive leadership within non-profit organizations; experience in healthcare settings preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
