We are currently seeking a highly qualified Clinical Psychologist to become a vital part of our talented medical team, performing one-time, non-treatment Veteran Disability Exams in Cordova, TN.

Job Overview

As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a key role in assessing Veterans’ mental health, ensuring thorough documentation and evaluation in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Review relevant mental health histories and conduct non-treatment behavioral health compensation and pension exams for Veterans.
• Utilize a web-based examination form to capture responses during evaluations.
• Complete all documentation electronically, forwarding finalized exams to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for disability award determinations.
• Address common assessment reasons, including PTSD, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders.
  
  

Required Skills

• Possess a Ph.D. or PsyD in Psychology from an APA-Accredited Program.
• Hold valid and unrestricted licensure as a psychologist.
• Maintain an active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal skills with a flexible approach to changing situations.
• Basic computer proficiency is essential.

• Educational Requirement: Ph.D. or PsyD in Psychology.
• Prior experience with Veteran Administration or compensation exams is advantageous, but not mandatory.

Compensation And Benefits

• Employment Status: Both Part-Time and Full-Time positions are available.
• Compensation: Competitive hourly or salaried rates, with bi-weekly payment.
• Schedule: Flexibility to work 3 to 5 days per week, from 8 AM to 4 PM.
