Performs the day-to-day full-charge bookkeeping functions for the firm's internal accounting needs.
Job Duties include and may not be limited to:
- Prepares Monthly budgets and forecasts
- Handle all aspects of AP
- Reviewing and filing necessary sales tax returns and ensuring they are compiled accurately
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
- Verifies and enters details of accounting transactions as they occur in computerized accounting system.
- Prepares appropriate schedules and reports as requested.
- Handles daily accounting mail, including notices and disbursements.
- Prepares bank reconciliations monthly.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Minimum of two (2) years’ responsible accounting or bookkeeping experience related to a computerized accounting system, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and financial reports.
- Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements of processing payroll accounting transactions and payroll returns.
- Requires ability to keep matters confidential.
- MS Word, SAGE 50 Accounting
