Compliance Coordinator for Medical Staff

Key Responsibilities:

Compile and maintain compliance files for nurses.

Interact with nurses and hospital compliance coordinators to complete the compliance process.

Utilize various software programs for file management and communication.

Update hospital compliance as necessary.

Create and manage ‘New Candidate’ files, including onboarding and testing.

Retrieve, sort, and file documents, updating files as needed.

Follow up with nurses regarding missing documents or credentials via email, phone, and text.

Schedule drug screens and background checks.

Maintain professional and precise filing systems.

Create compliance packets for hospitals and manage documentation submissions.

Communicate with 3rd party vendors and schedule orientations.

General Requirements:

MUST have nurse staffing agency compliance experience (6 months minimum).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient in intermediate MS Word/Excel and PDF creation.

Strong computer skills: navigate multiple programs, type 60+ WPM.

Detail-oriented with strong time management skills.

Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Good problem-solving abilities and quick learner.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent customer service skills; ability to remain calm under pressure.
