We are actively seeking a seasoned Environmental Project Manager to join our dynamic environmental team at PostJobMatches By WorkStaff USA, a premier staffing agency renowned for its excellence in the job placement sector. This 100% remote position allows you to contribute significantly to midstream pipeline projects, including natural gas, hydrogen, and crude oil initiatives, while working from anywhere in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple projects from routing and siting through to construction compliance.
  • Lead resource teams in executing environmental studies and managing permit applications, specifically FERC Section 7 and Third-party EIS documents.
  • Liaise with federal, state, and local agencies to ensure compliance and facilitate project progress.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, attorneys, and GIS analysts.
  • Communicate with the public and stakeholders during hearings and meetings to convey project goals and gather feedback.
  • Manage project scope, budget, schedule, and forecasting to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Participate in business development efforts and represent the company at industry conferences.
  • Conduct field reviews and compliance inspections to maintain regulatory standards.

Required Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of FERC regulations and federal environmental regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Highly organized self-starter with keen attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with MS Project and Teams for effective project management and communication.
  • Proven capability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) in Environmental Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental licensing and permitting for pipeline projects.
  • Demonstrated expertise in navigating FERC regulations and federal environmental legislation.
