Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Wave Equipment Operator in Rochester Hills, MI. Our client provides electronic design and circuit board assembly services to a wide range of companies in the industrial, medical, automotive, telecommunications, and aerospace/military equipment markets . The Wave Equipment Operator is responsible for operating wave soldering machines to help assemble circuit boards and ensure high-quality production.

Job Description
Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Wave Equipment Operator in Rochester Hills, MI. Our client provides electronic design and circuit board assembly services to a wide range of companies in the industrial, medical, automotive, telecommunications, and aerospace/military equipment markets . The Wave Equipment Operator is responsible for operating wave soldering machines to help assemble circuit boards and ensure high-quality production.
Responsibilities Of a Wave Equipment Operator Includes
- Set up and operate wave soldering machines to solder PCB components.
- Inspect and monitor soldered assemblies to ensure proper soldering and component alignment.
- Adjust machine settings as needed to meet quality standards and production goals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to maintain production flow.
- Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of wave soldering equipment.
- Work closely with other team members to ensure timely and accurate production.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and move materials, up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Experience operating wave soldering equipment or similar machinery preferred.
- Knowledge of PCB assembly processes and soldering techniques.
