Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to integrate safety protocols into all site plans and procedures, ensuring adherence to safety and documentation standards.
  • Supervise and mentor your team, ensuring productivity, performance, and quality meet project goals.
  • Maintain open communication with trades, subcontractors, and stakeholders, resolving any potential issues before they arise.
  • Oversee project scheduling, resource allocation, and constructability assessments, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
  • Build strong relationships with field engineers, estimators, and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with drawings and specifications.
  • Represent the project in meetings with clients, unions, regulatory bodies, and internal teams.
  • Develop and implement the Project Execution Plan (PEP) and ensure smooth project flow with resource-loaded three-week lookahead schedules.
  • Take full ownership of project financials, managing budget, cash flow, and contract compliance.
  • Drive project safety and environmental practices, ensuring zero-incident performance.

Qualifications

  • Journeyman certificate or undergraduate/engineering degree in a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of progressive field supervision experience, preferably in water/wastewater treatment projects.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage teams and oversee complex construction scopes.
  • In-depth knowledge of underground piping, yard piping, and the civil infrastructure field.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software and an understanding of project scopes, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with experience in contract management and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
