Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team in Lawrence, MA. In this pivotal role, you will conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, focusing on their medical history, presenting issues, and psycho-social factors. You will collaborate with primary physicians to interpret abnormal lab values and develop appropriate treatment plans, ensuring that both patients and their families receive the highest standard of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough assessments of each patient, including medical history, allergies, and current living conditions.
• Review and address abnormal lab results, planning treatment in collaboration with the primary physician.
• Identify educational needs for clients and their families, creating tailored teaching plans.
• Engage in a multi-disciplinary approach, consulting with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.
• Provide clarity and support to patients and their families regarding wellness, illness, and rehabilitation.
• Document all patient interactions and educational efforts, ensuring comprehensive records.
• Participate in the orientation and training of new staff as requested, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Act as a resource for team members, offering information sessions as needed.
