Lead School Nurse - Health Services

EDUCATION: 1. Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or related field (Must be from a Regionally Accredited College) 2. Master's Degree in Nursing, Health Care, Administration, Special Education, or related field 2. Valid California Registered Nurse License required CREDENTIAL: Valid California School Nurse Services Credential EXPERIENCE: Minimum of five (5) years of experience working as a school nurse DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE: 1. Experience working as a school nurse with students in all grade levels. 2. Certificated CPR trainer. 3. Working knowledge of the Special Education Information Systems (SEIS) and Non-IEP SEIS program. 4. Extensive experience with the Individual Education Plan (IEP) process. 5. Experience with interagency relationships and effective methods of program coordination.
