Our client, a leading asset management firm operating in the Digital Asset ecosystem, is seeking an experienced and dynamic trader to join the team.

The ideal candidate will have 4-8 years of experience trading corporate and treasury risk exposures, with a focus on derivatives and digital assets. In this role, you will manage and optimize risk, execute derivative strategies, and ensure compliance with internal policies and industry regulations. Strong analytical skills, working knowledge of ISDA agreements, and experience in Python/SQL are desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively trade and manage risk related to corporate derivatives and treasury exposures.
  • Develop and implement hedging strategies using a wide range of derivative products, including options, forwards, swaps, and futures.
  • Trade digital assets as part of corporate hedging or treasury functions.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends to optimize trading strategies and risk management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including risk management, corporate finance, and legal departments to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Ensure trades comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies, including those related to ISDA agreements.
  • Utilize data analysis tools such as Python and SQL to support trading decisions and optimize processes.
  • Maintain relationships with counterparties, including banks, brokers, and trading platforms.
  • Provide reporting and analysis on trading performance, risk exposures, and market developments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • 4-8 years of experience in derivatives trading with a focus on corporate or treasury risk exposure.
  • Experience trading digital assets is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with ISDA agreements and related documentation.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL is a plus.
  • FINRA Series 7 certification is required.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a deep understanding of financial markets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a focus on detail and accuracy.
