Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Imaging Services Assistant to join our team on a part-time PRN basis. This role is essential in supporting our healthcare professionals while ensuring a seamless patient experience in diagnostic radiology.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for medical procedures and provide clear explanations regarding exams
• Assist technologists and physicians during diagnostic radiology procedures and related activities
• Ensure procedure rooms are properly set up and stocked
• Handle scheduling, registration, and insurance verification
• Provide financial counseling and cashiering services
• Manage the release of information and customer service inquiries
• Perform additional tasks as assigned
  
  

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of medical terminology (preferred)
• Strong customer service skills (preferred)
• Ability to thrive in a medical environment
  
  

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required
• No prior experience necessary; however, experience in a hospital or medical setting is preferred
• Customer service experience is advantageous
