Summary

This position will be responsible for inspecting a sampling of Data Entry orders and preventing errors from being sent out and rejected by the county recorder or the client. The position helps the Quality Inspection line of business achieve a valuable final product that exceeds industry standards.

Essential Functions

  • Maintaining statistical quantity, quality, and viability.
  • Inspect orders for errors.
  • Accurately record results from their inspections.
  • Identify areas that need further materials in writing or need to be revised.
  • Identify team members needing correction.
  • Send correction requests to the Quality Review Specialist or Vendor Quality Manager when an individual has a repeating misunderstanding on a procedural point.
  • This position will have KPI metrics based on the number of tasks completed as well as the ability to maintain an acceptable error rate.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends if needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple objectives to meet client deadlines and department goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong management and leadership skills.
  • Commitment and ability to cultivate a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience

  • 2+ years of relevant industry experience, preferred.
  • Advanced Data Entry trained or able to complete advanced Data Entry training in 6 months.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Covius offers an extensive benefits package for all employees, including medical, dental, vision and 401k!
  • Compensation $15.50 per hour to start- $16.50 per hour fully trained. (Years of experience with Covius will impact salary.)

Working Conditions

Work is performed in a climate controlled indoor administrative office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate, depending upon the office or meeting location.

Physical Demands and Activities

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to communicate. The employee frequently is required to remain stationary. The employee is frequently required to move about the office, operate a computer and other office machinery, such as calculator, copy machine, and computer printer; rarely position self to maintain files; rarely moves boxes weighing up to 10 lbs. Close and distance observation required with ability to observe objects at close range in presence of glare or bright lighting (e.g., computer screen). Must possess the ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand and have the ability to interact with external and internal stakeholders.
