Soccer Shots is an engaging children’s soccer program with a focus on character development and fun for children ages 2-10. Our goal is "to provide a beloved growth experience for every child and a remarkable experience for every family." We do this through best in class coaching, curriculum, and communication.

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Recruitment and Staffing Coordinator (R&SC). In this full-time role, you will represent Soccer Shots promoting the company and its core values among the staff. We are seeking someone who can attract talented individuals and foster relationships that promote trust and understanding among all employees.

Responsibilities

Achieving Seasonal Staffing Goals:

  • Identify Applicants: The leadership team will determine the number of coaches needed before each season and it is the responsibility of the CC-R to hire enough coaches for every location. The CC-R will use various resources to hire those coaches It will be The (R&SC) will use various resources to hire enough coaches for every location.
  • CareerPlug Management: Maintain active CareerPlug accounts for each location. Refresh job postings regularly and make necessary updates.
  • Career Fairs: Attend job fairs at local colleges or community events to attract qualified individuals and promote Soccer Shots in the community.
  • Explore Unique Opportunities: Find innovative ways to promote Soccer Shots and increase the number of qualified applicants, such as posting yard signs, utilizing social media, or partnering with local entities.

Following The Hiring Process

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Oversee the entire hiring process which is reviewing resumes, sending and reviewing assessments, conducting phone screens, in-person and coaching interviews, performing reference checks, and making offers.
  • Continuous Process Improvement: Regularly assess the effectiveness of the recruitment process. Suggest and implement improvements to enhance the candidate experience and the quality of hires.

Onboarding And Retention

  • Onboarding New Hires: Lead the onboarding process, ensuring all required paperwork is completed and that new coaches receive the necessary training and orientation. Including creation of training schedule.
  • Employee Records Management: Maintain accurate employee files, ensuring compliance with all local laws and regulations.
  • Background Checks: Make sure all BG Checks for all locations are set up for new coaches and be aware of any background checks or certifications that are nearing their expiration, and coordinate with the applicable coaches to ensure that they are renewed without causing any disruption to their coaching schedule

Ongoing Coaching Support

  • Coaching Sessions: Coach fun, enthusiastic, soccer sessions for children ages 2-10 between 4-5 blocks per week.
  • Scheduling Assistance: Work with the Leadership Team to ensure coaches are appropriately scheduled for all locations, using scheduling tools such as Configio and Google Calendar.
  • Coach Transitions: Assist coaches transitioning to new locations at the beginning of each season. Ensure they are introduced to directors, set up at new sites, and prepared for their first classes.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Preseason Logistics: Support preseason logistics and deliver marketing materials.
  • Meetings: Attend team and departmental meetings.
  • Marketing Events: Participate in marketing events at partner locations to promote the Soccer Shots program during drop off/ pickup or open house events.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Annual Salary: Starting at $36,500 - $38,500 (paid weekly)
  • Paid Time Off: 10 PTO days
  • Monthly Gas Stipend: $150 ($1,800 annually)
  • Paid Holidays: As observed by the company
  • Health Insurance

Compensation: $36,500.00 - $38,500.00 per year
