Responsible for assisting with the instructional and physical needs of a special needs students.
Position Requirements
MINIMUM EDUCATION OR FORMAL TRAINING
High school graduate or equivalent
Minimum Experience
One year preferred
Skill Requirements
Computer skills
Word processing
General office equipment
Effective communication
Knowledge of special needs students preferred
GENERAL EXPECTATIONS
Is flexible
Has the ability to work cooperatively with supervisors and co-workers
Maintains a generally positive attitude
Observes all district policies and procedures
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATION
None required
Essential Physical Requirements
Frequent standing, walking, sitting, bending, and reaching
Occasional stooping, squatting, and kneeling
Occasional lifting up to 20 pounds
SUPERVISORY DUTIES
