We are seeking a talented Backend Developer to join our legendary quest!

As a Nitro Backend Developer, you will work closely with our backend technical lead and other team members to develop, maintain, and scale our backend systems. If you are passionate about backend development, eager to learn, and proficient in Go (Golang), this role may be a "go" for you (See what we did there?).

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

  • Develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs, primarily using Go (Golang).
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other team members to define and implement new features.
  • Optimize and scale our backend systems to handle increasing traffic and ensure high performance and reliability.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and learn from peer reviews.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, continuously improving your skills and knowledge.
  • Plot with the demon lord of the mystic backend realms to bring forth a thousand years of backend rule.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in backend development.
  • Proficiency in Go (Golang) is required.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and database systems (SQL).
  • Proficiency in handling large datasets.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Fluent in demonic tongues.
