Logistics Associate- Night Shift

The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a forklift certification, prioritize safety, demonstrate organizational skills, and work efficiently to contribute to the success of our logistics operations.

Responsibilities

• Forklift Operation:
• Utilize forklifts for the loading and unloading of materials and products.
• Ensure safe and efficient handling of goods, following established safety protocols.
• Maintain a valid forklift certification.
  
  

• Safety Prioritization:
• Prioritize safety in all aspects of logistics operations.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations, contributing to a secure work environment.
  
  

• Organization and Inventory Management:
• Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas.
• Assist in conducting regular inventory checks and audits.
  
  

• Timely and Accurate Processing:
• Work efficiently to meet deadlines and maintain a timely workflow.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the accurate and on-time processing of shipments.
  
  

• Communication and Collaboration:
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory levels, shipment status, and any issues that may arise.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address logistics-related challenges.
  
  

• Equipment Maintenance:
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse or logistics area.
  

Qualifications

• Forklift certification with practical experience in forklift operation.
• Prior experience in logistics or warehouse operations is preferred.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a timely and efficient manner.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
