Summary

  • JOB SUMMARY
    • The Clinical Community Liaison is responsible for establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and referral sources within communities St. Lukes has a presence and in new communities. The Clinical Community Liaison represents St. Lukes by identifying and responding to customer and community needs regarding community education and promotes St. Lukes philosophy of care and delivery of services including, but not limited to, specialty care, telemedicine services, information technology, laboratory, and radiology; developing and increasing access to St. Lukes services within the various service locations within the community. Develops, facilitates and coordinates the referral and admission process to promote a continuum of care model.
  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
    • Education: Bachelors Degree in health, public relations or business related field. Experience: At least two (2) years experience in health care, marketing, public relations, outreach programs, or closely related field. Licensure/Certification/Registration: N/A
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
    • Education: N/A Experience: Healthcare sales/marketing experience a plus. Licensure/Certification/Registration: N/A
  • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
    • Must possess clinical background and or a degree in a health care related field, with the ability to accurately and effectively decipher and disseminate clinical information. Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to problem-solve and relate effectively in a professional and compassionate manner. Must possess the ability to collaborate with community members as well as St. Luke's team. Must be a progressive, organized, creative self-starter who is able to develop ideas independently while being flexible to change. Must have ability to travel.
    • READING - Intermediate: Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
    • WRITING - Intermediate: Ability to write routine reports, correspondence, or procedures.
    • SPEAKING - Advanced: Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, top management, public groups, clients, customers, and the general public.
    • MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Intermediate Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw or interpret bar graphs to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
    • REASONING ABILITY - Intermediate Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
