Position – Quality Manager

Job Location – Eau Claire, WI

Starting Date – Immediate

Employment Term – Direct Hire or Temp-to-Hire

Employment Type – Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) – (7am – 4pm)

Starting Pay – $60-90K Annual Salary, DOE

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED

Required Experience – At least 2 years of experience

This is a chance to enhance your expertise in quality management and leave a lasting impact in both Quality Assurance and Quality Control. This is your opportunity to expand your quality management skills and make your mark with Quality Assurance and Quality Control. You will be responsible for overseeing quality assurance, quality control and inspection of custom metal fabricated products.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the company’s Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring effective quality assurance (QA) and inspection processes.
• Lead the implementation of ISO 9001 standards and conduct internal audits.
• Streamline inspection and quality data entry, as well as procedures and processes through automation.
• Monitor quality activities to ensure that all products meet established quality standards, including dimensional inspections of components, outgoing inspections of finished products, and incoming inspections of purchased materials.
• Serve as the organization’s representative during customer audits and coordinate responses to audit findings.
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Quality Management.
• Skilled in developing work procedures and instructions.
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and principles of quality design and improvement.
• Capable of presenting quality solutions to team members and potentially to clients.
• Preferred ability to interpret blueprints and drawings, including an understanding of GD&T.
• Proficient in using precision measurement tools.
• Required experience with ISO 9001 standards.
• Previous experience in metal manufacturing is a plus, but not mandatory.
