Purpose & Summary: Step into the heart of Dynamic Lifecycle Innovations by joining our People Operations Team and support our pillars of having the best team members, providing a great place to work, and developing a pipeline of talented individuals ready for the challenges of the future! In this role, you will manage programs and drive decisions that align with our mission of putting people first and help us create a workplace that fosters growth, engagement, and high achievement. As a Learning & Development Manager, your expertise will be crucial in ensuring a ready workforce through onboarding, orientation, structured learning plans, and workforce planning for future needs. You'll cultivate continuous professional development programs, support succession planning, outline career maps, and drive leadership development, all while integrating our mission, purpose, and values into our content and programs, and leading a team of training professionals.

Responsibilities include:

  • Learning & Development Strategy: You will drive our development and training programs, and contribute to the strategic vision, roadmap, budget, ongoing evaluation, and program enhancements within Learning and Development. You will conduct needs assessments in collaboration with People Operations Business Partners, the Talent Acquisition Team, and key leadership, and implement learning solutions to meet our most critical talent needs. Serving as a talent development expert, you will weave a shared competency language into all People Operations processes and practices to create a connective thread across a team member's lifecycle.
  • Training Delivery: You will build and deliver training to professionals across all levels and segments of our business, coach and mentor a team of Training Coordinators, and consult with business leaders across the organization to deliver high-caliber training content. The percentage of time spent in this area will evolve as the department evolves, requiring flexibility and adaptability.
  • Tracking, Evaluation, Administration: You will be responsible for tracking participation, evaluating content and related materials, coordinating with both internal and external trainers, and completing administrative training tasks. Additionally, you will manage the LMS and partner across the organization to create a central repository for training and resources.
  • Team Leadership: You will lead a team of training professionals to accomplish the L&D Pillars. You will prioritize making training and development accessible and enabling for the business by deploying Training Coordinators where needs are greatest, often in our Production OJT program. You will coach, mentor, and develop team members to grow with the L&D program and enhance their skills and capabilities.

Education & Experience: Education & Experience:

  • Required: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Education, Behavioral Sciences, Business, or equivalent. Over three years of experience in adult learning, including content and program development, people management, and training in a business environment. Additional relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • Preferred: Experience leading a corporate learning and development program or department.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Talent Development: Knowledge of adult training design, delivery, and evaluating effectiveness. Knack for assessing talent, coaching for development, and strategizing with a strengths-based mindset.
  • Business and HR Acumen: General business sense, with the curiosity to ask the right questions, get to the root of our business needs, and the ability to connect those needs with talent development solutions. Knowledge of HR processes with a general understanding of employee relations, organizational planning, talent management, and performance management best practices.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey training material, solicit feedback, gather training requirements, and effectively consult with business leaders. Excellent public speaker with crisp presentation skills.
  • Organization & Project Management: Project management skills to oversee training initiatives from ideation to completion, and strong self-management to stay organized when balancing many priorities.
  • Technology: Solid computer skills with the ability to quickly understand new tools and programs, and Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) expertise. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems, and utilizing technology to enhance learning outcomes and deliver content across satellite locations.
  • Emotional Intelligence: Self-aware and readily adapts to diverse audiences. Exceptional ability to build relationships, influence, and effectively navigate organizational dynamics.
  • Solutions Oriented: Excellent problem-solving skills to get to the root cause of challenges and coordinate groups to resolution. Open-minded, change agile, and constantly identifying opportunities to improve.
