Dewberry is currently seeking an Environmental Planner to join one of our Northeast offices. We are open to any of our offices in the Northeast. Responsibilities
The positions involve performing environmental impact studies including NEPA/SEQRA/CEQR, MEPA and CEPA documents and sustainability planning for energy, transportation, resilience and urban infrastructure projects.
Duties May Include
Conducting extensive research, data collection, analysis and the preparation of written technical documentation pertaining to land use, policy, demographics including Environmental Justice populations, hazard risk and vulnerability, transportation and transit, among others .

Required Skills & Required Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Planning, Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, Cultural Resources, or a related field ; MS preferred
- Minimum 6 years of environmental and/or transportation planning experience.
- 3-5 years of NYC CEQR and ULURP experience desired
- Strong written and oral communication and data management/visualization skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer focus.
- Experience with GIS a plus
