We are on the lookout for a Sr. Buyer to join our team in LEXINGTON-FAYETTE, Kentucky. This role will involve a wide range of responsibilities from setting up and collecting due diligence information from vendors to analyzing regional procurement processes and placing purchase orders. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

- Establish and collect due diligence data from newly approved vendors, ensuring they meet compliance and performance standards.
- Confirm two-way receipts for goods and services in a timely manner, ensuring deliveries meet specified criteria.
- Perform continuous analysis of regional procurement processes, identifying areas for efficiency improvement, cost reduction, and compliance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to optimize supplier performance and address any arising issues.
- Enforce procurement compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies and generate reports to monitor procurement KPIs and performance.
- Collaborate with various departments such as Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations to align procurement strategies with broader business objectives.
- Place purchase orders with vendors based on organizational needs, ensuring orders are accurate, timely, and comply with procurement policies and guidelines.
- Review and approve the receipt of goods and services, comparing goods received and invoice values.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Use tools like Concur for procurement processes and Excel Formulas for data analysis and reporting.
