The Role

We are looking for a passionate and driven Scientist, Cell Biology to join our dynamic R&D team. The Scientist, Cell Biology will play a critical role in our research efforts, with a focus on mammalian cell culture, immunology, and non-clinical studies. This role will involve designing and conducting experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to our efforts in advancing therapeutic programs. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cell biology and immunology, with hands-on experience in mammalian tissue culture (TC) and FACS.

This is a full-time role and onsite 5x a week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute experiments in cell biology and immunology, including mammalian cell culture and functional assays.
  • Perform and optimize mammalian tissue culture techniques, ensuring cell line quality and experiment reproducibility.
  • Support the development and execution of non-clinical studies to assess the efficacy and safety of therapeutic candidates.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to contribute to the progress of preclinical research programs.
  • Analyze and interpret experimental data, summarize results, and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Keep detailed and accurate experimental records, including laboratory notebooks and reports.
  • Stay up to date with the latest scientific literature and advancements in cell biology, immunology, and related fields.
  • Assist in the preparation of scientific publications, patents, and presentations as needed.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. degree. in Cell Biology, Immunology, or a related discipline with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in mammalian tissue culture, cell-based assays and FACS. Prior experience with human immune cells assays
  • Strong understanding of cell biology and immunology principles, with demonstrated expertise in experimental design and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in laboratory techniques such as flow cytometry, ELISA, qPCR, Western blotting and Luminex is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and project needs.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • A passion for innovation and a commitment to advancing scientific research.
