Job Summary
Assists students in the MAT 61 and MAT 100 classes with homework problems while in the math lab or classroom.
Job Duties
May help students study for math quizzes or tests and assist instructor with MyMathLab upkeep. The tutor will be working in a classroom setting with an instructor and may have some virtual weekend hours on Teams not to exceed a total of 20 hours per week.
Minimum Qualifications
Must have successfully completed MAT 150 or a higher-level math course with a B or higher. Preference given to students that have completed multiple college level math classes or who successfully completed the developmental sequence and are familiar with MyMathLab. Must be committed to student success, comfortable working with students who have learning challenges, and enthusiastic about working with students from diverse background.
Salary Range: $15.00 per hour
