JOB SUMMARY: Position will order and review title searches (abstract of title) in accordance with company and local division examining procedures to determine the status of title. Obtain documents required for home closing by KB Title and involved parties in set timeframe. Outline encumbrances and seek out actions required to clear title. Prepares and issues title commitments and policies. Develops and maintains good relationships with partnered/contracted parties.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Requesting and inputting lender title requests while keeping up to date w/ all revisions. Issuing title commitments.
- Ordering and keeping status of surveys and estoppels.
- Ordering of files and downloading the searches.
- Examining documentation/searches to verify factors.
- Addressing all prior policy requests for previous buyer’s refinancing and selling of homes. Issuing and auditing title policies
Education/Certifications/Licenses:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Florida Licensed Agent or Ability to Obtain a Florida Title agent license upon employment
- 2-3 years of abstractor, searcher, or related experience and/or title processing experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft applications Outlook, Excel and Word
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Reading comprehension
- Examining mortgages, liens, judgments, easements, plat books, maps, contracts, and agreements to verify legal description, ownership, restrictions, or conformity to requirements.
- Maintaining simple to complex files, keeping records, compiling and checking reports.
- Experience with Ramquest program a plus
- This position is remote. Training will be held in the Orlando divisional office
