HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Remote Customer Service Advocate to fill an opening with a Managed Care Organization.

Daily Responsibilities for Remote Customer Service Advocate :

  • Resolves customer service or billing concerns before they become a complaint utilizing active listening, effective communication including de-escalation techniques
  • Utilize email to communicate in written form to send referrals or materials using an electronic media
  • Assess the request and respond to callers based on standard policy and procedures to maintain compliance
  • Follow-up with members to respond to inquiries or to notify them of claim investigation results and any planned adjustments
  • Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation
  • Documents records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken in our system of record for each call
  • Shift: any 8 hour shift from 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM AZ time, training is 8:00am - 4:30pm MST (7am - 3:30 pm PST), Mon-Fri
  • Remote position


Required Qualifications for Remote Customer Service Advocate:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 years of customer service or call center experience
  • NO time off in the first 90 days, must schedule appointments outside of work hours
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Good tenure in past positions 1+ year at most jobs
  • Strong computer skills, MS Office, Outlook, typing skills (ability to type accurately while talking to patients on the phone), ability to navigate multiple systems
  • Ability to work from home - smart phone, high speed internet, private workspace- please provide internet speed


Preferred Qualifications for Remote Customer Service Advocate:

  • MCO experience

Pay Details: $20/hour - 20/hour
