Full-time Hybrid Marketing and Development Coordinator/Case Manager

Full-time hybrid Marketing and Development Coordinator/Case Manager to serve survivors of acquired brain injury in the Roanoke Valley. Half of the position will be serving survivors of brain injury as a community-based case manager. This entails meeting with families and survivors of brain injury identifying goals, and helping them find the resources to meet these goals. Thorough training is provided. The other half of the position will be helping with marketing and development with possible duties such as helping with grants, events, social media, and donor development.

Required

• Undergraduate degree in marketing, business, or similar or in social work, counseling, or similar.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends for events.
• Day travel around the Roanoke Valley including Roanoke City and surrounding counties.
• Excellent verbal & written skills, with an ability to craft compelling narratives and proposals.
• Experience with Microsoft Office,
• Experience in marketing, fundraising, event planning, or grant writing in a nonprofit or similar setting.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Passion for the non-profit sector and alignment with our mission.
• Interested candidate should reside in coverage area.
• Valid driver's license.
  
  

Preferred (though Encouraged To Apply Regardless)

• Experience in the nonprofit sector or working with mission-driven organizations.
• Experience with graphic design.
• Familiarity with donor management systems, grant databases, and CRM tools.
• Experience in brain injury or related field.
