Accounts Payable Clerk

Description

We are recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team based in Riverview, Florida. The selected candidate will be primarily responsible for processing invoices, maintaining detailed records, and resolving vendor inquiries. This role also includes monitoring accounts and taking appropriate actions.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process customer credit applications and maintain detailed records
• Handle vendor correspondence through phone or email
• Attach the corresponding purchase orders to incoming invoices with all supporting documentation
• Investigate and resolve issues associated with invoice processing and purchase orders
• Prepare batch check runs, wire transfers, and ACH transactions
• Assist with the preparation of monthly status reports and closings

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Demonstrated experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Familiarity with Check Runs procedures
• Experience in Coding Invoices
• Proficiency in Data Entry
• Proven experience in Invoice Processing
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proactive problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
