Production Assembler II - 4/10 Schedule

Job Title: Production Assembler II (Temporary, 2nd Shift)

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Assembler II to join our dynamic team on the 2nd shift, working a 4⁄10 schedule from Monday to Thursday. This role is essential in performing a variety of mechanical and electromechanical assembly operations with a focus on quality and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute a range of mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly tasks in accordance with established company procedures and safety protocols.
• Conduct self-inspections as well as inspections of peers’ work to ensure compliance with company and customer specifications.
• Document production metrics, including time and quantity, while applying relevant process specifications within assigned production cells.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, complying with all company guidelines and participating in team events as needed.
• Perform basic welding, brazing, or soldering tasks, and operate lightweight machinery such as sand blasters or electro-etching equipment as required.
• Uphold all safety policies and procedures consistently.
• Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• Preferred: Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience conducive to successful job performance.
• Vocational training, apprenticeships, or equivalent experience in a related field is advantageous.
• 2-5 years of pertinent experience in mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations.

• Proficiency in routine mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly processes.
• Ability to operate various hand tools and machinery effectively.
• Capability to read and interpret company documents, including safety regulations and operational instructions.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail required for working with small components.
• Competence in identifying and resolving common issues within the work area, utilizing established solutions.
