Virtualization Engineer

We are seeking an exceptional early-career IT professional to join us as a VMware Engineer on our multi-tenant Hosting team. You'll become a virtualization expert helping to manage an environment of over 6,000 hosts and over 65,000 virtual machines. Spend less time performing point-and-click tasks and join a code-first, DevOps focused team that spends their time automating and orchestrating through the creation and enhancement of scripting programs.

• Bachelor's Degree in CIS, IS, IT, or a related field
• Relocation to Madison, WI area (reimbursed)
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
• COVID-19 vaccination
• Preferred experience/interest in one of the following areas
• VMware vSphere
• Scripting and automation tools such as PowerCLI, GoLang, or Python
• VCP, VCAP, or VCDX certifications
  

As a member of the Hosting team at Epic, you'll be responsible for the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Epic Hosting. Those responsibilities include:

• Following policies and procedures and escalating when policies or procedures are not followed
• Escalating potential security incidents and providing relevant information
