As a Student Video Editor at Watermark Books & Café, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills and contribute to our marketing efforts by creating engaging and informative videos. Whether it's a promotional video for a new book release, a behind-the-scenes look at our café, or a book review, your videos will help showcase the essence of Watermark Books & Café to our online audience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the marketing team to understand video needs and objectives
• Research and gather footage, images, and music to create compelling videos
• Edit video content using industry-standard software, adding effects, transitions, and graphics as needed
• Ensure all video content aligns with the brand's tone and message
• Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and develop video concepts
• Manage and organize video assets for easy accessibility
• Stay up-to-date with current video trends and techniques to continually improve production quality
• Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality videos within budget constraints
• Communicate with stakeholders to receive feedback and incorporate changes into videos
  
  

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a film, video production, media, or related program
• Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
• Experience in creating and editing video content
• A strong understanding of video production and editing principles
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for storytelling and creative thinking
