Job Overview

In this part-time role, you will conduct one-time, non-treatment behavioral health compensation and pension exams for Veterans. As a Clinical Psychologist, your responsibilities will involve reviewing mental health histories and capturing clinical responses through electronic documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review relevant mental health history documentation.
  • Conduct non-treatment behavioral health compensation and pension exams for Veterans.
  • Utilize web-based examination forms to capture responses during the assessment.
  • Complete all exam documentation electronically, submitting findings to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for disability determinations.
  • Assess a range of mental health conditions, including PTSD, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders.

Required Skills

  • A Ph.D. or PsyD in Psychology from an APA-Accredited Program.
  • Valid and unrestricted licensure as a psychologist.
  • Active and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability to changing circumstances.
  • Proficient in basic computer usage.

Qualifications

  • Doctorate in Psychology.
  • Prior experience with VA or compensation exams is advantageous, though not mandatory.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Employment Status: Part Time
  • Schedule: Part-Time (2-3 days a week in person required), 8:00am-4:00pm.
  • Compensation: This is a salaried position, paid bi-weekly.
