Chief Welding Inspector - Pump Station Experience
Job Overview: We're seeking an experienced Chief Welding Inspector to oversee welding operations, with a focus on liquid pipeline and storage systems. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with industry standards, manage inspection teams, and maintain quality control throughout welding processes.

Job Overview: We're seeking an experienced Chief Welding Inspector to oversee welding operations, with a focus on liquid pipeline and storage systems. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with industry standards, manage inspection teams, and maintain quality control throughout welding processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate welding inspection activities
- Develop and implement welding inspection procedures
- Interpret and enforce welding codes and standards (e.g., API, ASME, AWS)
- Specialize in liquid pipeline and storage tank welding inspections
- Review and approve welding procedure specifications (WPS) and procedure qualification records (PQR)
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and contractors
- Maintain accurate inspection records and prepare detailed reports
- Minimum 10 years of welding inspection experience, with at least 5 years in liquids-related projects
- AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification
- API 1104 certification for pipeline welding inspection
- Familiarity with API 650 for welded storage tank construction
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in challenging environments and travel as needed
