The Job:

As a Senior Business Analyst – Data Management, you’ll be part of our Data Governance team within the Enterprise Data IT Organization, working as a Hybrid employee based in New Britain, CT. The primary objective of this role is to develop and enhance governance processes and features to ensure the delivery of reliable and trustworthy data assets. In this position, the candidate will primarily utilize our Enterprise Data Management Platform, leveraging it to enable data management and data quality processes. Additionally, the candidate will also be responsible for overseeing user access management for our data warehouse.

You’ll get to:


  • Develop and implement Data Management processes & features to improve data quality for our Enterprise Data Assets
  • Manage the Ataccama platform and enable Data Management processes within the tool
  • Implement and maintain a data catalog to promote data discovery and ensure proper classification of data assets
  • Develop and implement user access management processes to ensure the proper protection of data assets
  • Work with business users to define data management policies and standards
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data management processes are integrated into technology solutions
  • Monitor data quality and compliance with data management policies and standards
  • Participate in data management projects and initiatives
  • Provide guidance and support to business users on data management processes and best practices
  • Evaluates internal data assets for inaccuracies and identifies areas for improvement.
  • Gathers and documents detailed data quality rule requirements and identifies solutions in our data management tool.
  • Designs and supports best practices and testing strategies for data quality.

  • 5+ years of experience in Data Management, Product Management or Related Fields
  • Strong understanding of Data Management principles and best practices, with a focus on data quality, data cataloging, and user access management
  • Experience with data quality tools such as Ataccama
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and data modeling
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with business and IT stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
