Our mission is to build the most delightful, full-service banking experience for anyone who wants to bank in their native Spanish. Our goal is to make such an amazing banking experience that people will wish they spoke Spanish so they could bank with us.

Our 1st product was a debit card + checking account that has 100s of thousands of customers. Our 2nd product is the Seis Silver Credit Card, which helps our customers begin to build their credit as soon as they get to the us.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining end-to-end systems, working on both the front-end and back-end of our product offerings. You will leverage your expertise in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and 3rd party integrations to deliver high-quality software solutions while helping to elevate the team around you.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with at least 5 years of experience in the full stack domain, capable of navigating ambiguity, driving feature delivery, and mentoring a high-performing engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, robust full stack applications.
  • Implement complex system architectures and integrate seamlessly with 3rd party services and APIs.
  • Oversee and manage cloud infrastructure to ensure availability and scalability of services.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
  • Lead technical discussions, make architectural decisions, and advocate for best practices within the engineering team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, UX/UI, Data) to deliver key features and products.
  • Take ownership of the full software development lifecycle, from ideation to production.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Navigate ambiguity and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely feature delivery.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience delivering full stack features and products.
  • Proven ability to implement complex systems and solve challenging technical problems.
  • Hands-on experience integrating systems with 3rd party APIs and services.
  • Familiarity with managing cloud infrastructure (Digital Ocean, AWS, GCP, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong experience with both front-end (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.) and back-end technologies (Node.js, Python, Java, etc.).
  • Demonstrated track record of mentoring and leading teams, with the ability to elevate team performance.
  • Experience working in an ambiguous environment, driving clarity and making decisions to move projects forward.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Docker Swarm).
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and performance optimization techniques.
