About The Role

As a Principal Product Owner, you will:

  • Lead the execution of mid to large-scale client deployments, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Oversee product development from conception to delivery, managing stakeholder expectations, and ensuring end-user requirements are met.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to develop product roadmaps, manage backlogs, and prioritize features that align with business goals.
  • Take on full Product Ownership responsibilities, leading Agile development teams and ensuring successful sprint planning, refinement, and release execution.
  • Participate in and drive process improvements, leveraging tools like Miro for process flow visualization and Figma for UI/UX reviews.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. resident.
  • Prior experience working on government projects is essential.
  • Proven track record managing large, complex projects through all stages of the product lifecycle.
  • Experience working in Agile environments with a strong understanding of Agile principles and processes.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • MA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar technical background is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and manage product requirement documents (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with design teams to ensure UI/UX solutions meet business needs.
  • Lead sprint planning and manage backlogs to maximize product value.
  • Act as the primary liaison between teams and stakeholders, managing expectations and communication.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and Agile/Scrum best practices.
  • Drive product releases and upgrades with a focus on quality and security.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to anticipate user needs.
